Homeward bound...

Ready to roll on the mammoth journey home - dreading it as it will take 8-9 hours door to door - but at same time urgently need my own bed and surroundings!
Feel generally sore and uncomfortable - op site is still quite swollen and all the bruising is starting to come out now. Pain is still manageable on basic analgesics. Diabetes not too bad but still unsettled.
I am managing to eat probably a little more than pre op - but I am taking it steady as the bloating is still quite noticeable - this may settle - failing that my clinic appointment is only a month away.
The pacer seems to have kicked in at the same sort of point as the first one did, 48-60 hours post op.
